Bricco Maiolica is located in the heartland of the Dolcetto grape region within Diano d’Alba, Piedmont, and is now run by Bee Accomo and his wife Claudia. This is a traditional 100% Barbera, that is refined in steel tanks for 10 months. It offers a fruity bouquet with hints of red currant and nectarine. On the palate you’ll find flavors of currant, blueberry, black cherry, plum and mulberry. The palate is velvety and smooth with bright acidity and soft tannins during the finish.
