Chateau Labegorce is an old property, which dates back to the 14th century. The property today is one of the larges in the Margaux appellation with over 50 hectares, mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot all grown in gravel and sandy soil. This powerful Bordeaux is mostly Cabernet and Merlot. It’s dense with a firm, concentrated and very structured palate showing full force of blackberry, sweet wood, blueberry and dried mint flavors. Gripping, dark tannins soft with some recommended decanting.
