This winery was established in 2004 in Lanciano, Abruzzo, Italy, and is situated between the Adriatic Sea and the Maiella mountains. Enjoy a red wine that is made of 100% Montepulciano grapes and is fermented in 70% oak barrels and 30% stainless steel tanks for 10-12 months, then bottle aged for at least 6 months. It is ruby red in color with deep garnet reflections. On the nose there’s bright red fruit plus a touch of vanilla and spice including cloves. The palate is full bodied and balanced with fresh cherry flavors and spice. This is powerful and complex Montepulciano that over deliveries in a big way.
