Bluegray is a project by the famed Gil Family Estates and Orowines. All fruit is sourced from estate vineyards owned by the Gill family in one of Spain’s most prestige wine regions, Priorat. A blend of 45% Garnacha, 30% Carinena, and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon, the vines are planted between pine and olive trees on terraces with black slate and quartz soils. The fruit is fermented in small vats and aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.

James Suckling

“A modern and densely-fruited expression that has a wealth of concentrated dark chocolate, plum and black licorice as well as strong toasty oak emanating through the finish”. July 24, 2017

Wine Spectator

“This red shows good intensity on a graceful frame. Cherry and strawberry flavors mingle with fresh herb, vanilla and spice notes, supported by light, firm tannins and citrusy acidity. Focused and fresh”.
