100% Verdicchio from hillside vineyards 300-350 meters above sea level. Vines are planted to calcareous clay soils, all with a southern exposure. Fermentation takes place in glazed cement vats with temperature control (under 20°C). Wine is aged in cement sur lies for 8 months before bottling. Textbook Verdicchio with that ripping, quenching green apple scent that merges wonderfully with white flowers. Warm and balanced with a nice bitter ending.
