Bricco Maiolica is located in Alba right between the wine regions of Barolo and Barbaresco. It’s a family owned and operated winery run by Bee Accomo and his wife Claudia. The Contadin is a traditional Barolo fermentedin stainless steel using an ancient method called “a cappello sommerso” and it’s refined in Slovanian oak for 24 months and matured in bottle for 8 months. Aromas of strawberry, balsam, and sandalwood lead to a bold and rich palate of with impressive tannins and acidity.
