Description
The 2018 Il Rose is a blend of equal parts Sangiovese and Prugnolo Gentile. The six hectare vineyard sits at about 300 meters above sea level and enjoys southern exposure. The wine has a salmon color, petal like with orange reflections. On the nose, aromas of sliced peaches, flowers, stones and chalk very complex with full body and round yet agile and dynamic intensity, salty, linear, energetic backbone of acidity, great structure and lovely finish.
