Owners Sophie and Thierry Chardons both came from winemaking backgrounds in the Loire Valley and they founded Domaine Chardons in 2008. They began farming the vineyards organically and a few years later became certified. This is totally a baby Sancerre for half the price. It’s vibrant with fresh acidity and a stony edge. The nose and palate have light citrus fruit that’s mingled with hints of herbs and minerals. This is a natural wine, made with minimal intervention.
