The Tannat grape has been traced back to the south of France but now has become the national grape of Uruguay, producing Malbec style reds. This estate Tannat has a layered nose of blackberry, blueberry, plum and baking spice. The palate shows hints of crushed dry leaves and leather with a core of blackberry and firm tannins.
