Sixty four percent is from the original Sauvignon Blanc vineyard planted in 1959 and eighteen percent from each of Rochioli’s 35-year-old hillside vineyard and the rare clone 376. This wine is stainless tank fermented at a cool temperature to preserve its intense varietal character and firm acidity. Lots of crisp citrus and white grapefruit as well as mint and chalky minerality emerge from the 2020 Sauvignon Blanc, and it’s medium-bodied, with a beautifully balanced, juicy, crisp mouthfeel and a clean, dry finish.
