Syndicate Distillers first in their collaboration series; Hudson Region 845. Local select corn, rye, and malted barley (75/20/5) are harvested in the State of New York and distilled in the Hudson Valley region. Maturing in new American Char #3 white oak barrels for minimum of 3 years, the single barrel whiskey is specially finished by infusing a secret mix of vanilla staves during the last month of the aging process, creating a dark walnut color, soft in taste, rich in flavor, with hints of honey, smoked bacon, vanilla, caramel and burnt orange.
