The Mooiplaas Farm, founded in 1806, has been owned and operated by the Roos family since 1963. This 100% Chenin Blanc comes from 45 year old bush vines. After 15 hours of skin contact the juice is pressed and allowed to ferment spontaneously with wild yeast. Refined and fresh with an elegant light straw color, notes of dried peach, apricot and beeswax are found on the nose. The palate offers good weight, a balance of sugar, and an acidity that leads to a minerally finish.
